Off Again

Hi all,
A good chunk of time has passed since my last post; 160 weeks, or 1,120 days to be exact.
Now I'm back to inform you that I will be heading off to Japan once again as part of a university Study Abroad program!
From these past few years at Willamette, I've definitely learned a lot more about Japan and done my best to keep up with learning the language, both in and outside of class.
I expect that this trip will be a very different experience than the last one, and am very excited for what is in store.
I'll be there for about 4 and a half months, staying with a host family and studying at a university in Saitama Prefecture, just north of Tokyo.
I have received a student visa from the Japanese government, so I don't think I will have any problems with immigration this time.

Expect to see photos, videos and various updates about my life over there, and possibly some short reflection assignments that I will be required to do as part of my study abroad curriculum.
I'll try to keep it updated as much as possible, even if that means just posting photo and a bit of text every few days.

As always, comments are greatly appreciated. I'll do my best to answer any questions you may have.
My next post will be from Japan.
